Do you fix my car, or do I do the work?

You do the work on your own car. That's the whole idea. Pit Row is a DIY garage, not a repair shop. We give you the professional space, the commercial lift, and the tools. Our staff is on-site if you have questions, but the wrench is in your hand.

I've never used a lift. Is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Completely fine. Every first-time customer completes a required 1-on-1 safety walkthrough with one of us before they start. We cover how the lift works and shop safety. We also help get your car on the lift. You don't need experience. Just the willingness to learn.

Question 3

What if something unexpected happens while my car is on the lift?

We handle every situation case by case and work with you to find the right solution. Our staff is there specifically for moments like this. If you hit a snag or get in over your head, come find us. We'll figure it out together.

Question 4

Do I need to bring tools?

Accepted Answer

No. Every rental includes a loaded BoxO USA toolbox: hand tools, sockets, torque wrenches, impact guns, and air tools. We're adding to the inventory regularly. You're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Question 5

What kinds of vehicles can you lift?

Accepted Answer

Our 4 Rotary SP commercial 2-post lifts handle most passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks up to a half-ton pickup. Very low or heavily modified vehicles may need extra puck setup. Just mention your car's configuration when you book and we'll confirm everything is set before you arrive.

What if I run out of time before I finish?

Let us know as soon as you think you might go over. We'll do what we can to work it out with you. Every situation is a little different. For bigger jobs, it's always smart to book a bit more time than you think you'll need on the first attempt. We only charge you for the time you're here, so we don't mind if you book extra.

Can you get my parts ahead of time?

Yes, for members. Give us your VIN and what you're fixing when you book, and our parts concierge orders through FCP Euro, AutoZone, or Advance Auto. We verify exact fitment first, so your parts are sitting on your tool cart when you walk in.

Question 8

How do I book? Is there an online calendar?

Accepted Answer

No live calendar. Fill out the form below or call/text (380) 210-4202. We confirm your bay within a few hours so the right lift bay, tool cart, and any parts are fully ready before you arrive.

When are you open and how do I find you?

Accepted Answer

Open Wednesday through Sunday, 9AM to 8PM. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. We're at 734 Garden Rd, Columbus OH 43214, in the Clintonville area near Morse Rd and Indianola. Parking is on-site. You can also look us up on Google Maps or Apple Maps. We're on both.
